Esther Dabney is the vice president of talent development for Cox Automotive, where she and her team shape and execute leadership and employee development strategies to ensure a talent pipeline that can maintain the company’s leadership position today and into the future.
Dabney received her master’s and bachelor’s degrees from Florida State University and is an accomplished business leader with expertise in advertising, customer operations, learning, talent management and cultural change. She is an exceptional communicator and respected influencer with a proven track record of making those around her better. Some of her accomplishments include Board Member for HHJC, Georgia LEARNS Panel Speaker 2014, TAG Professional Development Task Force member from 2012 to 2015 and a Cox Mentor in 2014, to name a few.
Dabney resides in Marietta, Georgia, with her husband and three children. She’s active in her community and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Open Hand and Hillgrove High School Junior Cheerleading. Some of her interests include St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Special Olympics, Angel Tree and mentoring at Chamblee High School and Ridgeview Middle School in the Atlanta area. When not at work, you’ll find her spending time with her family at their various sporting events, as well as participating in CrossFit competitions.
